We commit to using best practice standards in the recruitment, screening, and employment of KCLC employees and volunteers SO they will not harm, abuse or exploit children and young people who are involved in our programs, services and facility.

KCLC is committed to provide an environment where children and families of migrant and refugee families feel welcome, represented, included in the decision making, and able to participate and free from discrimination and racism.

KCLC acknowledge that we respect everyone’s right to freely identify and affirm their sexual or romantic orientation and gender identity, including terms such as lesbian, gay, transgender, non-binary, gender diverse, genderqueer, queer, aromantic, asexual, bisexual, pansexual, sistergirls and brotherboys. We support the rights of people born with intersex variations to be free from discrimination and mistreatment.
